School back and our new puppy coincided with a long planned playdate. Not the best timing and LBP very disgruntled, ‘He’s my new puppy, please can’t I play with him too!’
While Aunt Dee Dee pointed to the math summer homework, LBP ran away saying, ‘I can’t do math now DeeDee, my unicorn is flying important passengers away!’
‘Someone needs to get an exterminator fast! Papa John has earwigs in his mailbox!’
Aunt DeeDee was driving and complained, ‘That lady behind me is totally sitting on my tail!’ and LBP replied, ‘But, DeeDee, you don’t have a tail!’
LBP met a little girl in Italy and she regaled this little girl with her stories of ghosts.’Once I saw a ghost in underpants! How do you say that in Italian?’ ‘Oh!’ said the girl,’…a fantasma in mutande!’
We watched the sun setting and LBP asked, ‘What happens if it lands on somebody?’
In summing up her brother, LBP said, ‘He has the grumpiness of a man and the funness of a boy.’
In the morning, LBP’s brother Thomas asked, ‘How did you sleep last night?’ and her reply, ‘I slept goodly and longly!’
LBP waited so long for the golden dress to go on sale. The only problem- its a size 12. I had to stitch it to fit her shoulders and told her all about how once upon a time, Marilyn Monroe also had to be sewn in to her golden dress.
