LBP’s grandfather, Papa John, has arrived. Papa John is Irish. She said today , ‘Papa John is like the naughty leprechaun in Darby O’Gill! He keeps tricking me!’

After a few days the throat infection is going. She pointed to her throat and said, ‘the little lump got soooooooo small and then it flew out the window and…bye bye!’

Because of her sickness, LBP could not go to school. She wanted to visit the children playing through the gates and they all gathered round to see her.

The medicillin works only if followed immediately by a small KitKat three times a day.

LBP is fascinated by Bear the cat’s litter box. She crawls over and always tries to peek in through the flap, ‘Can I see Bear’s poop?’

It was VE Day last week and LBP wore red,white and blue to school. It coincided with the arrival of a gift from Uncle Barnaby, ‘The Shusher’ which will magically make everyone quiet!
